Armapillo

Armapillos are a type of yokai found in the Forest of the Crimson Bamboo and Uzumaki Cave. They are the docile cousins of the Armakillo.

Overview

Armapillos are an original yokai. They are passive and do not attack Bō, and can be batted by them using the Bamboo Bat to break barriers such as Blue Bamboo Walls.

Shimeji owns four Armapillos, named Mamoru, Ame, GoroGoro, and Pendula.

Appearance

Armapillos are small, blue, roly-poly like yokai. They have an armored shell that protects their soft body and large white eyes with black pupils.

Behavior

While Armapillos are never seen moving by Bō, they get from place to place by rolling. They will generally ignore Bō until struck. When hit, the Armapillo be flung a short distance into the air, after which Bō can bat them into any chosen direction. Armapillos communicate using high pitched squeals.
