Enemies are aggressive entities that will attack Bō. Most enemies will go after the player, however some are stationary. Some enemies like the hitodama have boundaries they can not go past, if Bо̄ is past their boundaries they won't attack. They may not be able to still attack the player, but they will wait for Bō to return unless you move to a different screen.
